Greg Orie: the man
Greg Orie is the dynamic force behind DRAGON TATTOO. He has built himself a reputation as an (inter-)nationally acknowledged professional artist since 1984. Greg is an autodidact (e.g. self taught) and has gained experience from all parts off the globe. Also he has been working a lot as a guest tattoo artist in shops throughout America and Europe. From 1996 up to 2000 Greg visited Asia and Polynesia and studied the different tattoo styles and traditions there. He also has been tattooed in different traditional ways.
Greg Orie: his styles
Greg focuses mainly on bigger tattoos in a semi-traditional Japanese/Oriental style. This can either be a full body suit or parts of it. Every tattoo has an ‘open ending’, so that any follow ups will fit in perfectly. No need to say the pieces are always well balanced and beautiful on their own. With a bodysuit it’s essential that the background continues throughout the whole suit.
To make sure you get exactly what you envision ending up with, Greg will talk you through the design process thoroughly. Together you’ll come to a perfectly fitting, well balanced whole.

The way we think
If you have a tattoo made by us, you are guaranteed that all aspects of being tattooed are taken into account. Not only is the design very important, but also the placement on your body. The tattoo has to be pretty but also the combination with following tattoos should fit.
Moreover, the relation body part / design is essential. The shape of the tattoo must fit your body contours entirely. When you stand naked in front of the mirror you must be satisfied with the whole picture. That's why it's important to consult an experienced tattoo artist for your design. Even if someone can make excellent drawings, a drawing is not necessarily a tattoo. For a tattoo there are more issues to be taken into account. That's why it is preferable to have your tattoo designed by a skilled tattoo artist.
